Comfort is the key

First, we focused on designing an intuitive UI/UX for our platform. Working with statistics can be tricky, so we put a lot of effort into the layout.

Once the layout was ready, we moved on to developing the platform. We created the landing page, which contains all the essential information about PriceAid. The most challenging part was setting up the dashboard — this is where users can select their desired product, food depot, and track price changes and favourite products.

Admin panel required

We developed an admin panel with two roles: administrator and moderator. The administrator has full access to manage users, product groups, edit content, and view platform stats. The moderator has limited rights — they can’t change user roles, for example.

Mobile version

Mobile convenience is essential for today's solutions. If a platform is not mobile-friendly, it can be a major deterrent. Therefore, to ensure PriceAid was mobile-friendly, we opted for a WebView app. This allowed us to speed up development without sacrificing convenience.

Bonus feature: languages

PriceAid has grown rapidly since its inception. To accommodate its ever-growing number of foreign users, the company implemented automatic language switching. Now, when you visit the home page or the "Product Navigation" page, the platform checks your IP. If you're from Russia, the Russian language version of the service will be displayed; otherwise, the English version will be shown.

Results

PriceAid is a sweet deal for entrepreneurs — it gives you the lowdown on the prices of fruit and vegetables at the big food hubs in Russia. Now with the help of SIXHANDS it’s super user-friendly, plus there's an admin panel to manage users, product groups and content. Oh, and there's a mobile-friendly WebView app and auto language switching for users from abroad — a nice update proving that our work has helped the business grow.
