Price Point is an app for monitoring the prices of large Russian retailers.

Our customer is a marketing company working with large retailers. The company has asked us to implement an Android app that would automate the process of collecting and storing information about the prices of Russian retailers.

Given Task

After discussing all the details of the project with the customer, we started the development. One of the tasks was to synchronize the application with the SharePoint database, which the customer had previously used by uploading the product information manually.

Application feature

As our customer's executors are located in different cities, another important requirement in the implementation of PricePoint is the optimization of the process of controlling their work. For example, the application allows you to track the stages of tasks in order to notice delays in time and to know which project you need to send more operators to. Meanwhile performers see upcoming orders, as well as deadlines for their delivery.

Among other things, we have implemented in PricePoint automatic barcode reading from photos of price tags and products that performers upload to the app.
