The plethora of forgeries in shops and markets is a current problem, the solution to which became an interest to our customer. So he approached us with the task of creating a service that would be able to recognize official goods, from products “made in china”.

Development

We had to develop a native application on Kotlin for Android, which would define the manufacturer’s country by barcode on the product.

In order to simplify the user’s interaction with the application, we implemented the classification system with the principle of “traffic light”. So, if the product was manufactured in China, the app gives out a red icon. When there is no information about the application - yellow and, finally, if the product data on the Internet was found - green. After receiving a “green” response, the user can go directly from the app to the Google search engine to learn more about the product.

This way we implemented a simple and minimalist, but up-to-date relevant app for convenient use :)
